“ Incredible food. Friendly and welcoming staff who are very knowledgeable about the food and drinks on the menu. The food itself is of excellent quality and the menu has been really well thought out. The mussels in white wine and sweetbreads were particularly good. We had oysters, 3 courses and 2 drinks each for a total of 80. Well worth the money. ”
“ Incredible food by the team at Owl, steak and lobster night. Attentive staff, very knowledgeable & friendly. Shout out to Mikey how made our arrangements fit and great hosting. Food was exceptional from start to finish. Didn’t get a picture on the beef dripping mash, but it’s a must have! Thanks team. ”
“ Delicious! Highly recommend a visit. Went for evening meal and chose from the 5 course Dinner Menu. The food was amazing - so tasty and nice to have something so different. Although the portions look small, I was full (not stuffed) at the end of the meal. The service was good and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. A lovely location by the canal with a relaxed atmosphere. I will be back for another meal. ”
“ Perfect dining experience! Food was delicious and well thought out. Service was impeccable but relaxed. Fab selection of wines. Can’t recommend enough. A must visit when in Leeds. X ”
“ loved the playlist whoever the 20 year old is who had tiktok i loved it it was so funny to walk into chapell roan thankyou. somehow still made it elegant!! food was great, we went on the 19th of october and the staff were very good even when one of our party way late. ”
“ Amazing food, service and dining experience. Highly recommended. Entrance in the evening is through the closed market which is cool by itself. The Kitchen Counter (6 courses for 60) is incredibly delicious and very good value. At this price of 35, also recommend the wine flight. Plus a cheeky glass of bubbles service, brings the total to just over 100 which for the experience and food is really superb. The kitchen counter meant I was able to talk to the owner and head chef, Mark Owens who was funny and friendly (he also signed my menu). The food is prepared to a very high standard and is absolutely delicious. See pics for each dish. The flavours are unique and varied between each course. Portions are perfect and you will leave feeling pleasantly full (but not stuffed). ”
“ We had the taster menu and wine pairing at The Owl on a Saturday evening and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious with interesting combinations, one dish we might not be entirely sold on but that's the joy of a taster menu. The wine pairing was good and matched the food we ate. The service was excellent as it was well organised and the staff were friendly, polite and didn't miss a beat. The atmosphere is lovely due to the setting by the canal and the interior is nicely finished, making it an enjoyable place to dine. ”
“ As always, a lovely warm welcome and AMAZING food. So many menu options, and the staff are always attentive and helpful. We will be back again soon. Sunday lunch sounds fabulous. Another wonderful visit for the hog roast feast! ”
